Suspect in Deadly Pennsylvania Shooting Incident Barricaded with Hostages in Trenton, New Jersey

In a series of unfortunate events that unfolded on Saturday morning in Pennsylvania, three individuals lost their lives in two separate shootings. The Falls Township Police Department, with assistance from multiple law enforcement agencies, including Middletown Township Police and Pennsylvania State Police, is actively seeking a suspect identified as 26-year-old Andre Gordon.

The ordeal began around 9 a.m. ET when police were called to investigate a reported shooting on Viewpoint Lane in Levittown, Falls Township. Upon arrival, officers discovered that two individuals residing at the residence had been fatally shot by Gordon. In a tragic turn of events, the suspect then proceeded to Edgewood Lane, where he fatally shot another individual. All three victims were reportedly known to Gordon.

Following the shootings, Gordon is believed to have committed a carjacking in the parking lot of a Dollar General on Bristol Pike in Morrisville. The victim was not injured during the incident. Authorities are looking for a 2016 dark gray Honda CRV with Pennsylvania tag KFR 1534. Notably, there is a “namaste” sticker in white lettering on the right side of the rear bumper.

Gordon is described as wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and is believed to have ties to the Trenton, New Jersey, area. Police believe he may be homeless and warn that he is considered extremely dangerous, armed with an assault rifle used in the shootings. It is also believed that Gordon has additional weapons.

At approximately 12:30 p.m. ET, authorities were notified that Gordon had barricaded himself inside a residence in Trenton with hostages. Jeff Dence, Chairman of the Falls Township Board of Supervisors, announced that the shelter-in-place order for Falls Township would be lifted as a result.

Falls Township is located across the Delaware River from Trenton and is about 30 miles north of Philadelphia. Representative Brian Fitzpatrick, who represents Bucks County, confirmed the incident and stated he was in touch with law enforcement officials as they pursued the suspect. Pennsylvania State Police also joined the investigation.

Governor Josh Shapiro urged residents in the area to shelter in place and follow law enforcement’s direction. This is a developing story, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
